+ What equipment should I use?
I love Yeti's microphones & products. I personally use a Yeti Blue but I also really like the Yeti Snoball. Always add in a pop filter!
+ What software do you use to record and edit?
I record and edit with GarageBand (free on most Mac computers)
+ What are the specific requirements for my podcast cover art?
The podcast cover art dimensions are 3000 x 3000 pixels, which is an 1:1 aspect ratio. In general, you should be using JPG or PNG files and if you're creating podcast cover art, it should have a minimum of 1400 x 1400 pixels. You also need to be utilizing RGB color space for best results.
+ How do I find a name for my show?
The first question you need to ask is who are you talking to and why? Brainstorm and google and make sure you're not copying a name! Make it yours, and something you love you are going to have to say it A LOT!
+ Where do I post my show?
My favorite podcast host is Libsyn.
+ Why would I need a producer for my podcast?
There’s a lot to be said for good editing and sound quality. Producers and editors know how and what to tweak as they listen to your show to make it the best quality possible.
+ Why would I need help setting up my podcast?
You don’t NEED help. I believe in you and the power of Google, but I can help you! I can make this happen seamlessly and quickly! I know the ins and outs of submitting to Apple Podcast, GooglePlay and Stitcher. I know what works for launching a show and I can walk you through that. Plus, I believe we are better in community!
